Competing for the bronze medal in the women’s 62 kg freestyle wrestling event at the Paris Olympics, Bulgaria’s Bilyana Dudova was eliminated in the first round of the repechage bracket.

Dudova lost to former world champion Orkhon Purevdorj of Mongolia by one point to three.

On Friday, Dudova reached the quarterfinals of the tournament, but then lost to Ukraine's Iryna Koliadenko, who later qualified for the final. In Olympic wrestling, competitors losing to finalists compete for bronze medals.
