Bulgaria’s Magomed Ramazanov Thursday qualified to the men's 86kg freestyle wrestling final at the Paris Olympics. The No. 5 seed in the event defeated Aaron Brooks (USA) and will face three-time world champion Hassan Yazdanicharati of Iran on Friday.

31-year-old Ramazanov won his Olympic debut match in the round of 16 defeating Canadian Robert Moore and defeated Asia's vice champion Javrail Shapiev of Uzbekistan in the quarterfinals.

Ramazanov is Bulgaria's only freestyle wrestler at the Olympics.
