Three-time European women's doubles champions Stefani Stoeva and Gabriela Stoeva Sunday won silver during the finals of the European Badminton Championships in Saarbrucken, the last qualifier for the Paris Olympic Games, which they made. The Bulgarians lost to the No. 2 seed Margot Lambert and Anne Tran (France) 21:16, 17:21, 11:21.

This will be the third Olympics for the two sister after the ones in 2016 and 2020. Bulgarian badminton players have not missed any Olympics since 1992.

On Saturday the No. 3 seed Bulgarians won against Turkiye's No. 8 seed Bengisu Ercetin and Nazlican Inci 21:11, 21:15 in 31  minutes. That was the Bulgarians' third consecutive victory at the European Championships.
