The national women's volleyball team of Bulgaria lost 1:3 (14:25, 25:20, 18:25, 12:25) games to Puerto Rico in their last match of the Olympic qualification in Tokyo.

The team finished the tournament in the Japanese capital in seventh place out of eight teams with one win and six defeats.

From Bulgaria's group, a place at next year's Olympic tournament in Paris goes to Turkiye's team, which so far has six wins from six matches and meets Belgium later on Sunday. The second team going to the Olympics will be determined by a direct clash between host Japan and Brazil. Both teams have five wins and one loss so far.
