The government has approved the National Employment Action Plan for 2025, allocating BGN 88 m from the State budget’s active labour-market programme, the government press service said Wednesday.

The plan will create jobs for about 7,000 unemployed people and provide training for nearly 6,500 to boost their competitiveness. 

Officials expect the measures to cut unemployment to 4.1% and lift employment in the 20-64 age group to 77% next year, the government press service added.
