site.btaMarch Base Interest Rate Down to 2.59% - Central Bank
As of March 1, 2025, the base interest rate (simple per annum interest) in Bulgaria will drop by 0.23 percentage points to 2.59%, the Bulgarian National Bank said on Friday.
The base interest rate reached 2.95% in January and dropped to 2.82% in February.
The base interest rate peaked at 3.8% in March 2024 and has been gradually declining ever since.
