The average monthly contributory income for the country in September was BGN 1,668.70, the National Social Security Institute said on Wednesday. The monthly contributory income for the country for the period between October 1, 2023 and September 30, 2024, was BGN 1,608.75.

The determined average monthly contributory income for the country for the specified period is used in calculating the amounts of the newly granted pensions in the month of October 2024, added the National Insurance Institute.

The amount of the average monthly contributory income for the month of August 2024 was BGN 1,642.10, the National Social Security Institute said. The average monthly contributory income for the period between September 1, 2023 and August 31, 2024, was BGN 1,592.43.
