Three exhibition of industrial machinery, drone technology, and advertising – MachTech&InnoTech, Inter Drone Expo, and COPIS – will kick off in Sofia’s Inter Expo Centre (IEC) on Tuesday, IEC said.

Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry Nikolay Pavlov will take part in the formal opening ceremony of the exhibitions in Exhibition Hall 6. Attending will also be Bulgarian Industrial Association President Dobri Mitrev, Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association Governing Board Chairman Vassil Velev, Inter Expo Center Manager Ivaylo Ivanov, and Bulgarian Machine Building Branch Chamber President Violin Nenov, among others. Italy’s Ambassador to Bulgaria, Giuseppina Zarra, will also visit the exhibition.

MachTech&InnoTech 2024, Inter Drone Expo, and COPIS are targeted at specialists in three interconnected sectors, the organizers said, justifying their decision to hold the three exhibitions simultaneously.

"Drones and drone technology are increasingly used in modern industry, and advertising is a natural part of successful communication and final product realization," the organizers added.

The second edition of the Industrial Tech Forum will take place in Vitosha Hall on October 2 as part of MachTech&InnoTech 2024. Organized jointly by TLL Media and Inter Expo Center, the event will bring together experts and business representatives to discuss the future of industrial technology.

The Drone Expo Summit and Air Mobility Solutions, Innovations, and Safety forums will take place within the framework of Inter Drone Expo 2024.

Drone Expo Summit 2024 will focus on drone safety and cybersecurity, school training, defense, and the role of drones and robots in the management of disasters and emergencies. The event, jointly organized by the United Drone Community Association and Inter Expo Center, will be held on October 1.

On October 2, Air Mobility Solutions, Innovations, and Safety, organized by the Bulgarian Aviation Industry Association, will provide experts from the scientific community with a platform to discuss the role of technology in ensuring safe skies, drone control, and the use of artificial intelligence in drones.

COPIS 2024 will feature a series of side events, courtesy of Know-How Show-How, Design Academy, SoftUni Creative, and Digital Creative Mix. Visitors will be able to view the Spirit of Old Sofia exhibition and exhibitors' product presentations.
