site.btaTransport Minister to Order Audit of His Subordinate Organizations and State Enterprises

Speaking to reporters after the first sitting of the newly elected Cabinet here on Wednesday, Transport and Communications Minister Georgi Gvozdeikov said that he will order an audit of his subordinate organizations and state enterprises for the last three months to check what was spent and what expenses were made. Gvozdeikov pointed out that such an inspection should be done, and its results will be made public.

At Wendesday's sitting, Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov said that he had seen in the media in recent days information about the distribution of quite large amounts of funds, billions of BGN, without it being clear whether they were targeted appropriately and efficiently.
