site.btaGermany Shares Best Practices in Circular Economy at Forum in Sofia

The Bulgarian Recovery and Recycling Association (BRRA) and the Federal Association of the German Waste Management, Water and Environmental Service Industries (BDE) are organizing a forum on "Sustainable Circular Economy: Best Practices" in Sofia on Wednesday.

The event is organized in cooperation with Sofia Municipality and the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

German Ambassador in Sofia Irene Maria Plank, Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova and BDE President Peter Kurth are expected to be official guests at the forum.

The participants will discuss the prerequisites and conditions for a transition to a circular economy in Bulgaria, the challenges facing Bulgarian business in waste reduction, an improvement of resource effectiveness and the opportunities to finance these activities. German companies will present their sustainable business models and innovation examples.
