site.bta Paul-Ronny Angel to Give Concerts in Sofia, Ruse, Plovdiv

Paul-Ronny Angel will perform in Bulgaria for the first time. The lead singer of London's The Urban Voodoo Machine will give concerts in Sofia on December 18, in Ruse on December 19, and in Plovdiv on December 20, the organizers from Alarma Punk Jazz said.

Paul-Ronny Angel will perform songs created in the last years for poly-acoustic guitar as well as songs of the band arranged for this pocket-sized format. He will bring with him to Bulgaria his guitar, a costume of a superhero/mariachi/bandit, a thunderous voice, and a discography of philosophical and diabolical underground Rock and Roll hits, written by him over the years both for Urban Voodoo Machine and for his solo career, the organizers said.

Paul-Ronny Angel was born in Norway. He moved to London at the age of 19. A decade later, he became famous with a concert dedicated to British musician Joe Strummer.
