Four children from Montana Region won awards at the Hubla Music International Festival in Ragusa in Sicily (Italy), said the Dobri Hristov Arts School at the Razum 1883 People's Community Centre in Montana on Monday.

Simona Konova, Roksana Petrova, Zahari Zahariev and Emily Ivanova, all graduates of the vocal singing class of teacher Marianna Tsolova, won awards and certificates for their performances at the festival. Petrova also received an invitation to next year's Riga Symphony in Latvia, which is one of the most prestigious competitions in Europe.

They were evaluated by an international jury chaired by the famous maestro Enzo Campagnoli, conductor of the orchestra at the Sanremo Music Festival, and composed of prominent musicians and educators from Italy, Malta, Albania, Bulgaria, Estonia, and Latvia.
