site.btaBulgarian Artist Iliyan Angelov to Showcase Paintings in Sofia

Paintings by Bulgarian artist Iliyan Angelov will be showcased at the Union of Bulgarian Artists' (UBA) premises in Sofia from September 3 to 20, the UBA said. The exhibition is titled "Letters to the Sea".

Iliyan Angelov was born in the Black Sea city of Kavarna in 1964. He graduated from the Dimitar Dobrovich National High School of Arts in Sliven in 1983 and from the St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Turnovo in 1991, obtaining a degree in teaching fine arts. In addition to having participated in a number of group exhibitions, Angelov has had several solo displays in Veliko Tarnovo, Dobrich, Varna, Plovdiv, and Pleven.
