site.btaOver 500 Retirees Take Part in Fifth National Folklore Assembly at Verbino

Over 500 participants from 40 pensioner centres from all over the country took part in the fifth National Folklore Assembly Verbino 2024 in Silistra region, said the organizers from Dulovo Municipality on Tuesday. 

The participants were greeted by Dulovo Mayor Nevhis Mustafa, who stated that the municipality strives to keep the traditions alive and the organization of such gatherings will continue in the future.

The traditional gathering began 29 years ago as a meeting between folk ensembles of pensioners from Verbino, Dulovo and Tervel. Unlike other folklore assemblies, Verbino 2024 does not have a competitive nature and all participating teams receive a diploma and a cash prize.
