Opera Prima Krassimira Stoyanova is in Varna to prepare for Giacomo Puccini's La bohème, which will be performed at the Summer Theatre on July 6. This production by the State Opera, co-produced with the National Opera and Ballet of Albania, is directed by Ada Gura and conducted by Jacopo Sipari di Pescasseroli. Speaking to BTA, Stoyanova said: “The pinnacle of singing is conveying emotion through voice.”
After a rehearsal, Stoyanova emphasized the importance of emotion in a performance, whether tragic or comic, as it affects the voice's tone. She explained that depending on the emotion, she can convey different feelings through her voice, allowing listeners to imagine the performance even without visual cues.
Stoyanova emphasized the role of artists as cultural ambassadors for Bulgaria. She argued that politicians should engage more with the artistic community to enhance the nation's global representation. Stoyanova highlighted the potential of Bulgarian artists to effectively showcase their country's culture on the international stage, urging for increased support and opportunities for these talents.
