site.btaBulgarian Students Win Bronze Medal at Third International STEAM Azerbaijan Festival

The student STEM team of Sofia’s 18th Secondary School "William Gladstone" won a bronze medal in the category for hydrogen-fuelled cars - "H2 GRAND PRIX PRO", at the third international festival STEAM Azerbaijan, in the city of Baku, the school announced here on Friday.

This year's edition of the festival was organized in 14 working competition categories in the field of science and innovation, including: H2 GRAND PRIX PRO (hydrogen-charged cars); RoboKids; Engineers of the Future; FIRST LEGO League Explore; VidX; FIRST LEGO League Challenges; VEX IQ Intelligence Competition; Innovative Exhibition; Mechatronics; Wings and Wheels; Boat Racing; FlyTech; VEX Robotics Competition; Deep Sea Diving and Hackathon, the school said.

Representatives from the UK, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Norway, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Turkiye, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan were among the foreign participants. The forum explored various opportunities to identify talented students and schools and create conditions for new cooperation of the “William Gladstone” school at the international level.
