site.bta9th Quill Literary Award Ceremony to Take Place on November 2

The 9th Quill literary award ceremony will take place in Sofia on November 2, the National Book Centre (NBC) said on Monday. The event is jointly organized by NBC and the Peroto Literary Club in Sofia. 

A jury has already short-listed works to be considered for the award in four categories: children's literature; a debut; a book of poetry; and a book of fiction.

Selected among the nominees, artists who have contributed to the Bulgarian literary scene will receive a figurine by sculptor Prof. Emil Popov. The grand prize for lifetime achievement will also be awarded on November 2.
