site.btaPazardzhik Hosts "Sunny Besapara" Cheerleading Festival
Pazardzhik hosts the festival of cheerleading groups "Sunny Besapara" for the twelfth year. The event takes place in June 9 and 10. Besapara was the name of an ancient Thracian settlement, the centre of the Besi tribe, located on the territory of today's Pazardzhik Municipality. The 2023 competition programme includes formations from 13 towns in Bulgaria. Pazardzhik Mayor Todor Popov greeted the participants, who marched in a parade through the central part of the city. On the second day of the festival, the competition will continue in Vasil Levski Sports Hall. According to the regulations, the teams compete in four age groups and in four cheerleading disciplines. The organizers are Pazardzhik Municipality and Municipal Children's Complex - Pazardzhik.
