The governing coalition is consolidated, and the Zhelyazkov Cabinet is working excellently, Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev told reporters here on Monday.

Commenting on the no-confidence motion in the Zhelyazkov Cabinet, Georgiev said that such unprincipled actions could not achieve success. He described the motion as groundless political intrigue, adding that the parties who submitted it were, until recently, irreconcilable enemies, and will return to this status once the motion is voted down.

The fifth and latest motion of no confidence in the Zhelyazkov Cabinet was submitted by MPs of Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria and MECh on September 12 over "failure of internal order and security, justice, and state capture".
