site.btaVazrazhdane Tables Penal Code Amendments in Relation to Violence against Children and Animals

Vazrazhdane has tabled amendments to the Penal Code in relation to cases of violence against children and animals, Vazrazhdane MP Tsveta Rangelova said on Wednesday.

Rangelova explained that the public expects severe punishment for these crimes – torture of children and vertebrates and paedophilia, adding that the sanctions have not been updated for quite some time.

MP Petar Petrov added that the amendments have been proposed to facilitate the investigation of this type of crime.
