site.btaGERB Is Holding Government Forming Talks, Says GERB Leader Borissov

GERB-UDF is holding talks in order to form a government with their first government-forming mandate, GERB Chair Boyko Borissov told journalists in Parliament. He recalled that weeks ago he had sent out a negotiating team, including Tomislav Donchev, Rosen Zhelyazkov, Raya Nazaryan and Daniel Mitov. "When we have something to announce, we will do so," Borissov added.

"At this stage, it is evident that Assen Vassilev is the person who is in every way preventing the formation of a Cabinet," Borissov pointed out.

The GERB leader did not directly answer whether he would be the GERB-UDF nominee for prime minister.
