Emerging from a meeting of the Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria coalition on Monday, co-floor leader Nadezhda Yordanova said the common position of the CC-DB parliamentary group is that Bulgaria should have a regular government.
Earlier in the day, Democratic Bulgaria circulated a position paper in which they stated that a real and responsible attempt to form a government within the 51st National Assembly is necessary. The position was discussed during the meeting of the parliamentary group.
Yordanova pointed out that the government should be a pro-European, anti-corruption government united around a prime minister who is equidistant from the political forces, mutually acceptable, and not a highly polarized party figure. She stressed the whole group supports the position.
