There will be a leadership meeting and talks with the single focus on forming a governing majority and a government, GERB's Denitsa Sacheva said during a news briefing following a meeting of the party's Executive Committee here on Monday.
Sacheva said that the committee recognizes the statements from all representatives and leaders of Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) and believes that their intention is not to participate in a governing majority.
"GERB received the trust of nearly 650,000 Bulgarian citizens", Sacheva added.
GERB leader Boyko Borissov said, "I have signed a public statement that I will not govern with the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF)-New Beginning".
On November 14, CC-DB's Lena Borislavova said that GERB-UDF had officially refused to invite CC-DB for talks until they [GERB] choose with someone else a National Assembly Chair, who could then be the next caretaker prime minister.
