site.btaCabinet Proposes Flotilla Admiral Boyan Mednikarov to Be Awarded Order of St. St. Cyril and Methodius

The Council of Ministers has made a proposal to President Rumen Radev to issue a decree and award Flotilla Admiral Boyan Mednikarov, Prof., DSc, PhD, with the Order of St. St. Cyril and Methodius - necklace, the government press service said on Wednesday.

The proposal to award Mednikarov is for his outstanding services to Bulgaria in the development of science, and practice in the field of naval and maritime education, for his many years of skillful and professional leadership of the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy in Varna, for outstanding contribution in making the school an example for all higher education institutions in the country, for building and strengthening its international prestige, for his active international cooperation with maritime universities, academies and companies around the world, and on the occasion of his retirement.
