The Botanical Garden of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) will host its annual Autumn  Encounters with Plants between October 10 to 20, the press centre of the Botanical Garden reported.

This year, the thematic expositions will feature ornamental and edible species, as well as varieties of pumpkins and chili peppers.

At the beginning of autumn, this initiative is a good opportunity for all those interested to get acquainted with the richness of the plant world from all corners of the world, presented in the tropical greenhouse and the park of the academic Botanical Garden.

Visitors will be able to purchase plants propagated and grown by the garden team, such as the currently fashionable aroids, begonias, nettles, ferns, succulents, spices and many other flowers.
