Various elements of the process of election preparations in the charge of the executive have been upgraded, said Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev on Friday. He was speaking at the e-Government Ministry, where a procedure is underway to draw the numbers of voting machines that will be certified for compliance for the upcoming early parliamentary elections.

The drawing of the numbers is public and is being carried out in the presence of the caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev and the Minister of e-Government Valentin Mundrov.

According to Glavchev, the certification of the machines will be upgrade livestreamed with sound on. Efforts are made to bring in more experts to participate in the certification process, Glavchev said. 

He urged the participants in the electoral process and the political parties to monitor how the certification is going. The Prime Minister explained that the aim is to prevent any potential possibility for manipulation of the election process. The aspiration is for citizens to actively participate in the elections and be sure that their vote will not go to another.

The Central Election Commission bears the main responsibility for the elections and we have been working in cooperation with it since the previous elections.
