At its sitting on Thursday, the National Assembly voted, 184-5 with 3 abstentions, to terminate the MP rights of Ekaterina Zaharieva of GERB-UDF. Zaharieva submitted a declaration to resign as national representative from Pazardzhik.
Zaharieva is European Commissioner-designate. Her portfolio is Research and Innovation.
