Caretaker Prime Minister Dimitary Glavchev is on his way to the Graf Ignatievo Air Base (South Bulgaria) after a military aircraft crashed nearby earlier on Friday, the Government information service reported.

The Defence Ministry said that a military L-39 ZA aircraft has crashed near the Graf Ignatievo Air Base on Friday afternoon. Measures have been taken to contain the fires and establish the causes of the accident.

The accident occurred during the preparation of the demonstrations planned for Saturday. An investigation is currently underway.
