site.btaDefence Minister Zapryanov to Give News Briefing about Military Aircraft Crash

Caretaker Defence Minister Atanas Zapryanov and Deputy Chief of Defence Lieutenant General
Tsanko Stoykov will give a news briefing at 4:00 pm on Friday about the crashed L-39ZA military training and combat aircraft, the Defence Ministry said. Bulgarian Air Force Commander Major General Dimitar Petrov will also participate in the briefing. 

The Defence Ministry said that a military L-39 ZA aircraft has crashed near the Graf Ignatievo Air Base on Friday afternoon. Measures have been taken to contain the fires and establish the causes of the accident.

The accident occurred during the preparation of the demonstrations planned for Saturday. An investigation is currently underway.
