site.btaPresident Rumen Radev to Take Part in Demonstration Flight on F-16 Fighter Jet

President Rumen Radev will take part in a demonstration flight in an F-16 fighter jet at Graf Ignatievo Air Base at the invite of the United States Air Force on September 13, the President's press secretariat said here on Thursday.

At Graf Ignatievo Air Base, the President will award the Presidential Badge of Honour to Brigadier General Tad Clark, Commander, 31st Fighter Wing of the United States Air Force, Aviano Air Base, Italy. The award recognizes his significant contribution to strategic defence cooperation between Bulgaria and the United States.

On Saturday, September 14, President Radev will take part in the open flying day at Graf Ignatievo Air Base. This event commemorates two significant milestones: the 20th anniversary of Bulgaria's NATO membership and the 35th anniversary of the MiG-29 aircraft's induction into the Bulgarian Air Force.
