There have been no official reports of vote-buying, caretaker Interior Minister Atanas Ilkov told reporters at the ministry's national meeting on Thursday.  "When there are signals, we process them quickly in a timely manner and report to the prosecution service," he added.

Thursday's national meeting of the Interior Ministry is aimed at discussing the organization of elections, planning all actions related to the bought vote control and ensuring good public order, as well as other topics such as road safety, domestic crime, migration pressure, drug production and distribution, Ilkov said.

"I have no intention to make changes in the regional directorates of the Ministry of Interior," he stressed. "If I find deficiencies somewhere, I might proceed to replace some of the directors, but these will be isolated cases. Do not expect large-scale changes," Ilkov explained. He added that as of Thursday there is a new regional director in Plovdiv.
