site.btaMRF - New Beginning Files for Registration in Parliamentary Elections as Three-Member Coalition

Iskra Mihaylova from a newly registered Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) - New Beginning coalition told reporters it would seek a good showing in the October 27 parliamentary elections with support from all reasonable people. The MRF - New Beginning is made up of the wing of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) supporting Delyan Peevski, the Bulgarian Voice party and the New Leaders party.

Commenting on the registration of the two MRF factions - one supporting the party's founder Ahmed Dogan and the other loyal to Peevski - by the Central Election Commission (CEC), Mihaylova said that CEC "obviously has organizational problems, it obviously finds it difficult to make decisions, so it left open the option to ask us for corrections and additional information to the documents".

 Earlier in the day, CEC decided to accept the papers for participation of both MRF factions.
