site.btaENGAGE.EU to Offer Courses in Native Languages of Partner Universities

The ENGAGE.EU consortium will continue to help students gain international experience in autumn 2024-2025, again with the option of studying from home, said the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) on Thursday.

UNWE has been part of the European Commission's initiative ENGAGE.EU for more than three years now, together with universities from Mannheim, Vienna, Rome, Tilburg, Toulouse, Bergen, Barcelona and Helsinki. In addition to English, the universities participating in the consortium in 2024 will also offer courses in the native languages ​​of the nine institutions: Bulgarian, Catalan, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Norwegian and Swedish.

One of the most beneficial opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students studying at the alliance's partner universities is the online exchange initiative. Those wishing to apply for the courses should follow the instructions provided by the relevant universities offering the course and the links published after the description of each major. The deadline for applying is June 24, 2024.

The educational modules are aimed at developing the knowledge, skills and competences that contribute to the economic and social development of Europe, with some of them providing more specialized and in-depth training in specific subjects, UNWE noted.

In July 2023, the European Commission said that the ENGAGE.EU consortium will be financed with additional funds in the amount of EUR 14.4 million for the future development of cooperation and mobility between the nine partner universities. Each university will also contribute to the total budget of EUR 18 million planned for the next programming period 2023-2027.
