The conditions for hiking in the mountains on Thursday are good, the Mountain Rescue Service informed BTA.

The weather is clear, with scattered clouds, windier in the higher parts. Temperatures vary between 15C and 20C.

On Wednesday, a tourist with an injured leg received medical attention in Vitosha and was transported to the lodge.

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology said that cumulus clouds will develop over the mountains, cumulus-rain clouds in the afternoon. In many places there will be short-term rain and thunder, more intense in the Balkan, with moderate to strong west-southwesterly wind. Highs at 1,200 meters will be around 25C, 16C at 2,000 meters.
