The Council of Ministers approved here on Wednesday a change in the consular jurisdiction of Milen Raykov, Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan. Raykov's jurisdiction has been reduced. The current iteration will include Silistra, Shumen, Dobrich, and Varna. Previously, it also included Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Targovishte, Razgrad. Despite the reduction, Raykov continues his duties as Honorary Consul, seated in Varna.

Raykov, CEO and proprietor of businesses in the tourism, construction, and energy sectors, has also held an advisory role to the chair of the Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association since 2018.
