In response to a question about what he remembers from his meeting with Patriarch Neophyte, President Rumen Radev Saturday said that he will never forget Patriarch Neophyte's words that "faith in the good should unite and strengthen us as a people". He spoke to journalists before entering the St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral to attend the funeral service of the Bulgarian Patriarch. 

"I still remember how he blessed me at the beginning of my first presidential campaign," the President said, adding that there are many lessons to be learned from Patriarch Neophyte.
