Dozens of visitors who took their seats days before the start of COP28 became mindful of the world's soil issues through a striking multimedia spectacle under the dome of Dubai Expo City on Tuesday evening. UK company Impact Nest, co-founded by Galina Vacheva, joined forces with MP-STUDIO, the company behind the LUNAR Festival of Lights, for the WAKE-UP Experience event to draw attention to everyone's shared commitment to preparing a better future for the planet. Tuesday night's event partner was the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Official guests were Khaled Khalifa, Senior Advisor, UNHCR Representative to the Gulf Cooperation Council, and Bulgarian Innovation and Growth Minister Milena Stoycheva.

The multimedia spectacle was projected on the 724,000-cubic-metre dome - the world's largest 360-degree video mapping surface.
