The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MFR) will participate in the talks on constitutional changes, it will not prevent the formation of a cabinet, MRF leader Mustafa Karadayi told journalists here on Friday. Representatives of the GERB-UDF and the Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria conferred with MRF representatives in Parliament. 

"First we discussed the scope of talks, the topics we could discuss," Karadayi explained. We did not discuss a cabinet, the he said, adding that the MRF would not participate in a cabinet or in discussions about a cabinet.

He noted that they had talked about reforms in the Constitution. "We have an agreement that the reforms in the Constitution will be discussed in essence and as implementation," Karadayi explained. 

"We have been asked to support the constitutional reforms that we proposed a year and a half ago," the MRF leader added. According to him, parliamentary time is required to implement the constitutional reforms. "In order for the reforms to happen, we will not prevent them from forming a cabinet," Karadayi said, reiterating that his party will not be involved in this cabinet or its formation.
