Repairs are underway on Belgrade’s streets and boulevards that were damaged during the military parade held on September 20.

Work to restore the parade route began Tuesday morning. The Defence Ministry had previously announced that all affected streets would be returned to their original condition.

Traffic on Nikola Tesla Boulevard is closed for the day, with public transport running on modified routes.

The parade, which took the Serbian Armed Forces 15 days to prepare, involved more than 10,000 military personnel and showcased around 2,500 pieces of weaponry and military equipment, over 600 vehicles, 70 aircraft, and 20 vessels.
