Traffic is heavy at the border control check points with Romania through Oryahovo, Nikopol, Kardam, Durankulak for lorries, the General Directorate Border Police reported on their website early Thursday.

Due to repair works of the Giurgiu-Ruse bridge over the Danube on the Bulgarian side, traffic is controlled by traffic lights to let vehicles through in stages.

Traffic at the border crossings with Greece, Serbia, Turkiye and the Republic of North Macedonia is normal.
