Customs officers at the Vidin-Danube Bridge 2 border checkpoint have seized 750,000 contraband cigarettes, the Customs Agency said in a press release on Friday.
The contraband was found in a truck with Lithuanian plates that was selected for a thorough customs inspection on August 12.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case.
