Meeting in Skopje, Bulgarian Ambassador Angel Angelov and North Macedonia's Culture and Tourism Minister Zoran Ljutkov expressed their satisfaction with bilateral cooperation and project sharing in the field of culture, Ljutkov's ministry reported on Wednesday.

During the meeting, which was also attended by the Director of the Bulgarian Culture and Information Centre in Skopje, Antonia Veleva, the sides discussed some of the larger joint cultural events of the past and the participation of Bulgarian artists in international festivals in North Macedonia. They stressed that the sharing of content between large and prestigious festivals as well as stage performances and other artistic projects should continue. 

As a positive example they cited the Trebenista Exhibition, which was the result of several years of cooperation among the National Archaeology Institute under the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the National Museum of Serbia, the Archaeology Museum in Skopje, and the Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments and National Museum in Ohrid.
