This year, World Egg Day is marked on October 10. It has been celebrated since 1996 on the second Friday of October by decision of the International Egg Commission. The idea is to promote the nutritional benefits of eating eggs.

On this day, many countries around the world organize egg festivals, cooking competitions, and special entertainment for children. The theme for 2025 is "The Mighty Egg: Packed with Natural Nutrition," emphasizing the powerful role eggs play in feeding people around the world.
