site.btaPM Borissov Confers with Montenegrin, Serbian Counterparts

November 15 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov on
Thursday held bilateral meetings with Prime Minister Dusko
Markovic of Montenegro and Ana Brnabic of Serbia, the government
 information service said.

The sides commended highly the activities of Bulgaria which
after its presidency of the EU Council continued to work
actively for the European perspective and connectivity of
Western Balkan countries.

Borissov said: "The European project wonТt be complete without
the Western Balkan countries and their success on the path to
the EU depends mostly on the political will of leaders. Bulgaria
 will continue to lend support for the implementation of the
necessary reforms and projects."

During talks with Brnabic the Bulgarian Prime Minister outlined
among factors that contribute to the political stability and
security in the region the normalization of relations between
Serbia and Kosovo, adding that dialogue between the two
countries should be resumed with the mediation of the EU.

During their meeting Borissov and Markovic discussed the
sustainable progress of negotiations on Montenegro's EU
accession.

Borissov underscored that the country remains a good example and
 leader in the region on the way to the EU family.

On the agenda of bilateral talks also featured energy
connectivity and infrastructure projects. RY/PP
