MRF-New Beginning leader Delyan Peevski told journalists in Parliament that the no-confidence motion against the government tabled by MECh is “useless” and “a waste of time”.

“I will not comment, this is a closed topic and nothing will happen,” Peevski said.

The second no-confidence motion against the government was submitted earlier on Thursday by MECh and is supported by Vazrazhdane and Velichie.

Asked about a statement by former regional development minister Andrey Tsekov of Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria that Peevski had called him in connection with new contracts with toll collection companies, Peevski said, "Ask him how often he sat in my office, drank coffee and said, 'Mr Peevski, you are the only person who thinks about the state. My fellow party members are good for nothing, but I have to tolerate them so I can become the leader of Continue the Change."
