The Council of Ministers has extended by one month a programme for humanitarian support for displaced persons from Ukraine, the government information service said on Tuesday.

During this time the provision of humanitarian assistance will continue under differentiated conditions according to the type of accommodation.

The extended period will be used to finalize a new programme that will build on existing support through an integration approach. The main objective is the long-term inclusion of Ukrainian citizens in the social and economic life of the country.

The Labour Ministry, the Education Ministry, the Health Ministry, the Tourism Ministry and the Ministry of Interior will be involved in the development and implementation of the new programme. International and non-governmental organizations will also be involved in the integration process, providing legal, psychological and social support to the displaced.
