A new album of kaval player Teodosii Spassov and guitarist Hristiyan Tsvyatkov, titled Antarctic Tales, was presented at Sofia Live Club.

"Antarctica is love indeed," Prof. Christo Pimpirev said during the event.

Actress and director Boyka Velkova and actor Lyubomir Kovachev took part in the poetic-musical evening.

"Antarctica is icy, but it is made for people with warm hearts," said Pimpirev and thanked the musicians for the wonderful performance.

As BTA reported, in 2020, during the 28th expedition to Livingston Island, in West Antarctica, Theodosii Spassov shared in the implementation of a project that eventually evolved into the Antarctic Tales album. Together with guitarist Hristiyan Tsvyatkov, they formed the first musical duo to play on the Ice Continent. They were also the first musicians to make and record music there. Days later, the two performed for an audience in Antarctic waters, aboard the Spanish military research ship Hespérides, sailing in the Bransfield Strait. In 2024 and 2025, the duo has been invited to present the project as a kind of sequel in the form of a concert featuring music from the eponymous album, Antarctic Tales, composed and recorded on the Ice Continent.
