The EU and NATO Monday greeted Bulgaria on its National Day, March 3. The greetings are in Bulgarian on the European Council's X profile.

"Happy National Day, Bulgaria!" reads the greeting on behalf of the institution of the EU heads of State and Government. Together with the other EU Member States, Bulgaria discusses, negotiates and adopts EU legislation, the post says.

"Today we celebrate our ally Bulgaria on their National Day," a post on NATO's X profile reads. The NATO Joint Force Command in Mons, Belgium, also writes in Bulgarian, "Happy Liberation Day, Bulgaria!". "Together we work for a safer and more secure world, congratulations on your lasting unity and cooperation," the post adds.
