"Happy National Day to all Bulgarians in Bulgaria and around the world," Continue the Change Co-leader Kiril Petkov said on Facebook on March 3. In a photo posted on his page, he can be seen at Mt Shipka, one of the central locations for the celebrations of the National Day.
"This morning we bowed in tribute to the heroes who fell for Bulgaria's freedom," Petkov said.
