The Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) parliamentary coalition wants the meeting with GERB-UDF to be public because of the lack of trust "between us and between society and the parties", Continue the Change party said on its Facebook page on Saturday.
 
"We have nothing to hide. First we have to decide how to stop Peevski's influence on the institutions. Without this, we cannot discuss a president and a government," the political formation said.

"We have to make sure that Peevski's influence is stopped, not in words, but in real action, because if we don't deal with this, every government will fall victim to his behind-the-scenes influence. We would not enter such a scenario. We owe it not only to our voters but to the entire Bulgarian people," the publication reads.

The position is in response to GERB-UDF who have said that a meeting between the two political formations should not be held through social and public media. Earlier in the day, CC-DB accepted GERB-UDF's invitation for talks.
